The Bridgerton Glow

With new actors playing roles such as Hannah Dodd as Francesca Bridgerton and Nicola Coughlan taking centre stage as Penelope, there were many talking points when we got the first looks at this new season. One of the talking points was how everyone had this glow that made their skin look flawless on camera. A youthful plumpness that cannot just be achieved by a double cleanse. Luckily, makeup artist Jessie Deol dished the dirt on what she used to give the cast members that dewy base. Deol’s must have on set products on set were:

Cle De Peau Beaute Radiant Fluid Foundation - £116

Dior Backstage Glow Face Palette - £40

Pat McGrath Labs Skin Fetish Highlighter & Balm Duo - £45

For more affordable options to recreate the look, we would recommend:

Nars Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation- £39

Elf Halo Glow Liquid Highlight Beauty Wand - £9

Are you blushing?

Another element of the skin that the masses have been obsessing over is the orange-y blush we can see on Coughlan throughout the season. Making her bright blue eyes pop and keeping that youthful look, the makeup team chose to blush right on the apples of the cheeks to look like a natural flush. We could not be more obsessed with blush, with Sabrina Carpenter and her bright pink cheeks to the prink under eyes and sunset blush, the blush trends are coming thick and fast this year and Bridgerton is no different. To get the look, find the shade of blush that works well with your skin tone and apply it right onto the apples of your cheeks, the more natural the flush, the better.

Known for those perfectly natural looks, the perfect brow ties all the looks together in this season’s catalogue of looks. Preened hairs are slightly brushed upwards giving a feathered brow that looks natural but well shaped. Fill in any gaps you may have with hair like strokes with a brow pencil and you will be on your way to being the diamond of the season.

Our favourite products for created the perfect feather brow are:

Ruby of the Season

In the final episode of the season, we see Penelope wearing a vivid red lip. This is her growth into her womanhood and also a nice break from the sultry neutral looks we saw through the season. To recreate Penelope’s bright red lip, try a parred down eye look and then a bold lip. Get the right lip liner and fill it in with a creamy matte lipstick.
